Central Jakarta Administration and PT MRT Discuss East-West Corridor Project

Central Jakarta Administration and PT MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Jakarta discussed about potential and impact of East-West MRT Corridor construction as well as socialization to residents.
It starts from Roxy Mas up to Sumur Batu for Central Jakarta area
PT MRT Construction Director, Weni Maulina, explained the construction of the East-West corridor of the Jakarta MRT consists of an underground line from the Roxy area to Galur and an elevated line from Tomang - Grogol, and Cempaka Baru-Ujung Menteng.
As planned before, Weni added, those lanes will have 21 stations.
"It starts from Roxy Mas up to Sumur Batu for Central Jakarta area," she said.
Weni continued that the project in Roxy Mas will start in the end of 2024. That is why she and her teams went to Central Jakarta Administration for cooperation.
With this coordination, Weni hopes that the Central Jakarta Administration can support the activities. So that later the development process can be carried out properly.
Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, stated ready to cooperate in handling the construction impact and conduct socialization to residents.
"There must be issues that need to be resolved, especially related to territoriality. Therefore, there needs to be socialization and synchronization, so that this project runs well," Dhany stated.
